Make your wedding day truly unique and memorable by adding custom elements that reflect your love story, traditions, and personalities. Our enhancements will make your ceremony unforgettable. (Please note that the cost covers only the additional script and performance in the ceremony; materials are not included.) Choose from the following enhancements: Handfasting Ceremony: A handfasting ceremony has its roots in ancient Celtic tradition. It symbolizes the couple binding their lives together and uniting their hopes and desires. (cord not included) Sand Ceremony: It expresses merging two people or two families into one new family. Typically, each person has a different-colored sand and takes turns pouring it into one glass vessel, forming a layered effect. (sand and glass vessels not included) Unity Candle: The unity candle is lit by the bride and groom from two separate family candles, representing the union of your families and that you and your fiancé are creating your own family. Optionally, your mothers light the family candles. Then, you two hold your family's candle to light the unity candle together. (candles not included) Jumping the Broom: A time-honored tradition in which the bride and groom jump over a broom, symbolizing a new beginning and a sweeping away of the past.
